Full course description
Upon completion of this course will prepare the international student for regular Global English classes, other college writing assignments, and business writing in the marketplace; students will demonstrate the ability to do the following:

Write longer, more complex sentences incorporating the grammatical structures

Write an essay persuading someone about his or her point of view.

Applying, revising, and editing techniques to their own writing.

Demonstrate an understanding of the interrelationship among conjunctions, linking verbs, and transitional phrases.

The grammar component focuses on the adjective, adverbial, and noun clauses: complex structures by practicing writing more sophisticated formal essays in different academic modes: narration, comparison emphasizing revising and editing.

Students are exposed to aspects of statistical choices and sentence varieties to become an Etymologist (wordsmiths).
