Full course description
A study of the various ways in which geography has influenced and been influenced by history, including but not limited to physical, political, cultural, and environmental factors. The emergence of ancient civilizations, the spread of Islam, and global commercial relations are all possible topics. A study of the world's regions, with a focus on topography, climate, natural resources, urban and rural life, cultural aspects, and political life. The history of the United States, with an emphasis on modern America's diversity and America's rise to world power status in the past century.
