Full course description
This course introduces students to fundamental concepts, theories, and methods of analysis used in the physical and life sciences by focusing on big questions that are both current and timeless. This course teaches students about the scientific method by demonstrating the interaction of observation, theory, experiment, deduction, and application. The relationship between scientific and technological progress and society's moral and ethical foundations is studied, and students are given the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge by applying skills and responsibilities to new settings and complex problems.
